Pittsburgh, named most liveable city for many years, is filled with a mix of amazing history and futurist advances. Thanks to our 29 colleges and universities, we are hub for education, technology and medicinal advances. Many people are pleasantly surprised with Pittsburgh’s beauty and charm. Some people still envision Pittsburgh as a dirty steel town. That is ancient history. While we still have some steel mills in operation, the city is beautiful and clean. Only 15 minutes outside of downtown you can find country land and farm. Pittsburgh as over 90 unique neighborhoods in the city itself and many suburbs.
In Pittsburgh we love our statistics. For example, we have the steepest street in the United States, 416 bridges (2nd most to Venice), 729 sets of city steps. We have everything any major city has, and easy access to all of it. We have award winning restaurants, sports teams and museums.
Pittsburgh has become a leader in technologies such as robotics, self-driving cars, and medical advances.
Our architecture of homes is quite diverse. We have homes that are historic and have the original stained glass and hardwood floors, we also have homes that are new and modern.
